Hilo's Cal Ripken league will be sending two teams to the 2024 Cal Ripken State Tournament this month on Oahu, with its first team — the 12-under Majors All-Stars (pictured above), managed by Neil Azevedo — playing on the diamond this week against the host island's Hawaii Kai Elite. First pitch will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Patsy T. Mink Central Oahu Regional Park (CORP). The league's minor league team will play in its bracket June 10-13.
