Lynette Noelani Auna, 63, of Keaukaha died May 29. Born in Hilo, she was a probation officer, teacher, business owner, counselor and political aide, Hilo High School Class of 1979 alumna, graduate of Hawaii Community College and Pathway Connect and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Keaukaha Ward. Visitation 8-10:30 a.m. Friday (June 14) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Hilo Stake Center, 1373 Kilauea Ave.. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial tp at the Homelani Memorial Park. Survived by husband, Aubrey Auna of Hilo; sons, Aaron (Jackie) Auna and Marcus Auna of Hilo; daughter, Jacelyn Auna of Hilo; mother, Roselani Napeahi of Hilo; brother, Joseph (Wanda) Napeahi of Kahuku; sisters, Terri Napeahi, Laures Napeahi-Ulep and LaCher (Eric) Napeahi of Hilo; brothers-in-law, Aley (Danelle) Auna of Kailua-Kona and Ahlberg (Tia) Auna of San Antonio; sisters-in-law, Adrienne (Sam) Thomas of Hilo, Allyce TeNgaio of Pleasant Grove, Utah, and Althea (Fia) Neria of Salt Lake City; three grandchildren; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
