The Hilo County Farm Bureau and the state Department of Agriculture will present, “Coconut rhinoceros beetle: pest threat and response” from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Hawaii Community College in Hilo.

The DOA’s Pest Control Branch will share information about the invasive beetle, including pest identification, threats to plants and response techniques.

There is no cost to attend, and advance registration is not required.

The presentation will be at HCC, 1175 Manono St, Building 3393, Room 103.
