Mina Cascayan Alabab, 99, of Mountain View died June 1 at home. Born on Kauai, she was a retired vegetable farmer. Visitation 10-11:30 a.m. Wednesday (July 24) at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel. Gloria June Montee Hoeppner, 99, of Hilo died July 5 at Yukio Okutsu Veterans State Home. Born in Portland, Ore., she was a retired homemaker, member of the North Kona Baha’i Community and U.S. Navy veteran. Funeral service 11 a.m. Tuesday (July 23) at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. Takako Ota, 98, of Waimea died June 28. Born in Palihooukapapa, she was a retired sales clerk for the former Ben Franklin store in Waimea and member of Kamuela Hongwanji Mission. Gregg Ramsey Stanton, 76, of Honokaa, died July 11 at home.
