After-School All-Stars Hawaii has expanded to two new locations in West Hawaii: Konawaena Middle School and Waikoloa Elementary and Middle School.
After-School All-Stars Hawaii has expanded to two new locations in West Hawaii: Konawaena Middle School and Waikoloa Elementary and Middle School.
This brings ASAS Hawaii’s total number of schools served to 13, according to a press release.
Students at Konawaena Middle School and Waikoloa Elementary and Middle School will now have access to ASAS Hawaii’s comprehensive programs daily from the end of the school day until 5:30 p.m.
The program includes academic support and a wide array of extracurricular activities designed to inspire and empower students to reach their full potential. In addition, a variety of sports, involvement in sports league and field trips are all provided for free.
The organization has programs in East Hawaii that include Keaau, Waiakea and Pahoa middle schools.
ASAS Hawaii’s expansion also is bringing job opportunities to West Hawaii. ASAS Hawaii is actively recruiting individuals committed to making a positive impact in students’ lives.
Positions available include a full-time site coordinator and part-time program leaders. These roles are vital to creating a supportive and nurturing environment where students can thrive beyond the classroom.
