Night re-striping work is being done on Highway 130, Keaau-Pahoa Road at the intersection of Shower Drive in Puna, weeknights, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting.
The estimated completion date is early October.
Crews will be modifying the existing striping in the area of the intersection to include a dedicated right-turn lane from Shower Drive onto Keaau-Pahoa Road.
Electronic message boards are posted to notify motorists of closure information. The state Department of Transportation reminds motorists to drive with caution and to follow all traffic control signs through the work zone.
