Wade Alan Fukui, 62, of Hilo died Aug. 18 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a warehouse associate for Kona Trans Moving and Storage. Visitation 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Casual attire. Jason Nobuichi Marumoto, 75, of Hilo died Sept. 3 at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Born in Pahala, he was a supervisor for the former Mauna Kea Agribusiness and ML Macadamia. The Rev. Tadamasa Nishimura, 92, of Hilo died Sept. 20 at home. Born in Yamaguchi-ken, Japan, he was a retired head minister for Tenrikyo Kilauea Church and member of Tenrikyo Hawaii Shima Kyoyukai. Visitation 2:30-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 4 p.m. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Yumiko Nishimura; daughters, The Rev. Daisy Lilinoe (Chong) Ikeuchi, 97, of Honokaa died Sept. 1 at home. Born in Waimea and raised in Waipio Valley, she was the owner of B. Ikeuchi &Sons Inc. and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Honokaa Ward, Honokaa Senior Club, E Mau Na Ala Hele and Halau Manu Le‘a Hawaii. Private services held. Angeles “Angie” Cecil Omaya, 79, of Las Vegas, formerly of Kalaoa, Kona and Pepeekeo, died June 11. Born in Pepeekeo, she graduated from St Joseph School and the former Hilo Commercial College, worked at Kona Inn and retired from Creative Day Care Center. Funeral mass at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Kailua-Kona and Celebration of Life at the Old Kona Airport Beach Park Pavilion on Saturday, Oct. 5. Visitation at 9-10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Church. Mass 10-11 a.m. at St Michael’s Church. After mass, celebration of life at 12:30 p.m. with scattering of ashes at 1:05 p.m. at Old Kona Airport Beach Park. Luncheon to follow at the last beach pavilion. Wear casual or aloha attire with Angie’s favorite color, green.
