Fetulima Kalavine Tamasese, 75, of Kailua-Kona died Sept. 23 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Apia, Western Samoa, he was a landscape contractor and plant nursery owner in Kona who formerly taught English as a secondary language in Honolulu after graduated from Brigham Young University of Hawaii. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Leiomalama’s house, 65-1199 Opelo Rd. in Waimea, Celebration of life service at 10 a.m. Luncheon to follow. Private burial at Kona Memorial Park in Holualoa. Survived by sons, Andrew (Lianne) Tamasese, Thomas (Laura) Tamasese and Samasoni (Julie) Tamasese; daughter, Leiomalama (Tomas Cedillos) Tamasese Solomon; eight grandchilden.
