Born in Keaau, he was a construction worker, drummer for The Surfonics and We Three Plus Two and graduated from Hilo High School and Hilo Community College. No services. Alan Junichi Harada, 72, of Holualoa died Oct. 18 in Kailua-Kona. Born in Kealakekua, he worked in the hotel, construction, and airline industries, and was a retired U.S. Army Reserve lieutenant colonel.
