Hawaii Island’s health care sector is facing a critical staffing shortage, and local job-seekers are being presented with an exciting opportunity to address this challenge head-on.
On Wednesday, Nov. 20, the first annual Hawaii Island Healthcare Career Expo, presented by Hawaii Island Community Health Center, will bring together over 40 local health care employers in Hilo to connect with those seeking rewarding and fulfilling careers in health care right here on Hawaii Island.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Edith Kanaka‘ole Multi-Purpose Stadium and is free to attend.
Local residents will have the chance to explore a wide range of career opportunities, including medical roles, support staff positions and administrative positions, across some of Hawaii Island’s leading health care organizations.
These employers will be actively recruiting for positions at all levels with roles that include on-the-job training, competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our island community.
