On Wednesday, Nov. 20, the first annual Hawaii Island Healthcare Career Expo, presented by Hawaii Island Community Health Center, will bring together over 40 local health care employers in Hilo to connect with those seeking rewarding and fulfilling careers in health care right here on Hawaii Island.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Edith Kanaka‘ole Multi-Purpose Stadium and is free to attend.

Local residents will have the chance to explore a wide range of career opportunities, including medical roles, support staff positions and administrative positions, across some of Hawaii Island’s leading health care organizations.

Employers present will include: AlohaCare, Bayada Habilitation, Big Island Healthcare, East Hawaii Health Clinics, Hale Anuenue, Hamakua-Kohala Health, Hawaii Care Choices, Hawaii Island Adult Care, Honoka‘a Hospital, HOPE Services, HMSA, Ka‘u Hospital, KTA Pharmacy, Ohana Health Plan, Pacific Quest, Rehab of the Pacific, Big Island Substance Abuse Council, Hawaii Island Fentanyl Task Force, Hawaii Oral Health Coalition, Hawaii Public Health Institute, Hilo Benioff Medical Center, Hui Malama Ola Na ‘Oiwi, Queen’s North Hawaii Community Hospital.
