Violent criminals
beholden to Trump
Mr. Trump just pardoned the criminals involved in and convicted of crimes of Jan. 6, 2021,
These pardons are unjust and extremely wrong.

You tell me, is this just or even lawful?
Nope. This is a convicted criminal pardoning convicted criminals. Does this suggest anything for the future?
Now Trump has a lot of violent criminals beholden to him for their freedom.
Oh, and yeah, they probably feel that they, like him, are now above the law and can do whatever they please, legal and illegal.
As you see in the video of one of the police officers doing his duty and trying to protect the Capitol and the people inside, these people are not everyday passive nonviolent citizens. These are people who hurt, kill and threaten innocent victims.
Is this what Trump was voted in for?
Hitler had the brown shirts. Trump has the Proud Boys.
Do you feel safer in your home and cities?

Mahalo to all those who offered me first aid when I tripped and skinned my knee and tore a toenail at the pier in Kona on Friday, Jan. 24, in the afternoon.
A true demonstration of the “aloha spirit.”

Hawaii AG seems
to be confused
In addressing the recent crackdown on deporting illegal immigrants, state Attorney General Anne Lopez said, “Hawaii and my department will not participate in activities with the federal government if in doing so, we are not enforcing the rule of law.”
I thought Hawaii is part of the United States, but evidently she doesn’t think so. She also seems to be confused about what rule of law means.
