The Aloha Quilters of Kona and the Hawaii Handweavers Hui will be presenting the 8th Biennial Quilt and Fiber Arts Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Friday and Saturday at the Kona Dance and Performing Arts Studios, 81-973 Halekii St. in Kealakekua (down the street from the post office).
The Aloha Quilters of Kona and the Hawaii Handweavers Hui will be presenting the 8th Biennial Quilt and Fiber Arts Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Friday and Saturday at the Kona Dance and Performing Arts Studios, 81-973 Halekii St. in Kealakekua (down the street from the post office).
The theme of the show will be “Movement.”
More than 60 locally made quilts will be on display. The show will also feature a marketplace where attendees can purchase quilts, wall-hangings, hand-made bags, greeting cards and other unique pieces of fiber art.
Attendees can enter their name to win a beautiful quilt made by award winning quilter Val Brewer. Need not be present to win!
The drawing will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday
Aloha Quilters meets the third Saturday of the month at Queen Emma Community Center, Christ Church Episcopal, 81-1004 Konawaena School Road in Kealakekua.
