BIIF baseball: Warriors remain unbeaten after win

HILO — Kamehameha Schools-Hawai‘i baseball scored seven-or-more runs for the fourth consecutive game in its 7-3 win over Hilo on Tuesday afternoon at Wong Stadium. The winning Warriors improved to 4-0, while the Vikings dropped to 1-2.

KSH senior infielder Justin Kubojiri led his team with three hits in five at-bats, including a double. Teammate outfielder Keagan Pacheco posted two hits, while Noah Palea, Shiloh Santos, Kamaka Ili and Dayton Hanson added one each.

The Warriors tallied nine hits to Hilo’s five. In each of KSH’s four games this season, it has posted at least eight hits.

Santos also saw time on the mound for the Warriors, earning the nod as the game’s winner after throwing for 4.3 innings. Santos allowed three hits and one run on four strikeouts across 62 pitches. Palea additionally pitched, closing the final 2.6 innings. He threw 37 pitches and struck out five.

The Vikings were spearheaded by senior Jayden Geraci with two hits, followed by teammates Kamren Agpalza, Ghage Daquep and Rory Crabbe with one apiece.

Geraci also saw time on the mound, pitching 2.3 innings while allowing one run and no hits across 58 pitches. Agpalza, Tyson Santiago and Talus Soto all additionally pitched — combining for four earned runs on five hits.

In the 2025 season, KSH has out-scored opponents 44-4, including two shutouts. Kubojiri leads the teams in hits and runs with 10 each, while Pacheco leads in RBI (nine) and doubles (three). Santos leads the Warriors pitchers in innings, wins and strikeouts.

Hilo has been led by Agpalza in hits and runs, while Geraci leads the pitchers in innings and strikeouts.
