VIDEO: HVNP releases body-worn camera footage from March 4 officer involved shooting (viewer discretion advised)
As part of the National Park Service’s established protocol regarding officer-involved shootings, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park has released body-worn camera footage from a March 4, 2025, officer involved shooting.
The community briefing video shows significant sections of the body-worn camera footage from some of the involved law enforcement officers. The video is intended to help community members gain a better understanding of what occurred.

The suspect in the video is Isaiah Kaleo Jiaan Fourshey, who was sought by police after he allegedly shot and killed Latisha Soares, the sister of his ex-girlfriend.
This incident is still under investigation. The investigation, which includes the actions taken by NPS law enforcement officers, is being led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
