Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating two teenage girls reported as runaways in separate incidents.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating two teenage girls reported as runaways in separate incidents.
Divine Benn, 15, of Pahoa was reported as a runaway on Jan. 29. She was last seen at her home at 8:50 p.m. that evening, wearing a grey jacket, black shorts and black Crocs shoes. Benn is described as 5-feet-9-inches tall, 130 pounds, with black shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.
Jaymelynn Pua-Queja, 16, of Naalehu was was reported as a runaway on Feb. 26. She was last seen at her family’s home on Feb, 8, wearing a grey sweater and blue jeans pants. Pua-Queja is described as 5-feet-5-inches tall, 150 pounds, with dark-brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on either teen’s whereabouts is asked to call the police department’s nonemergency line at (808) 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at (808) 961-8300.
