Placida Pearl Glory, 76, of Kealakekua died Oct. 21 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Kealakekua, she was a savings supervisor for American Savings Bank and member of Kona Hawaiian Civic Club, Professional Secretary International, Kona Chapter, and South Kona Catholic churches. Wake service 5-9 p.m. Friday (Oct. 27) at St. John’s Catholic Church in Kealakekua; 6 p.m. rosary. Visitation at 8 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 28) at St. John’s. Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kona Memorial Park in Holualoa. Casual attire. Flowers welcome. Survived by daughter, Lisa (Thomas) Klein of Chicago; son, Lloyd (Shari) Glory of Ravensdale, Wash.; brothers, George (Lei) Cabilin of Captain Cook, Martin (Marcia) Cabilin of Kailua-Kona, Charles (Min) Cabilin of Kent, Wash.; sisters, Ramona (Raymond) Ciriaco of Captain Cook, Julita (Edgar) Spencer of Waimea, Maura (James) Patao and Brenda (Michael) MacMullen of Kailua-Kona, Irene (William) Castelline of Des Moines, Iowa; three grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
