Russell Hayashi of Exchange Club of Hilo, right, and about 30 others from Zonta Club of Hilo and Hawaii County Prosecutor’s Office wear jeans and sign wave in observance of Denim Day on Kamehameha Avenue to raise awareness of rape, sexual violence issues and to support survivors of sexual assault Wednesday afternoon. The Prosecutor’s Office also had displays addressing domestic violence, sex assault, elder abuse, financial exploitation and child abuse at the Wailoa Arts Center in recognition of Victims Rights Week.
