At about 10:30 p.m. Monday, Ka‘u patrol officers responded to a report of two individuals, a 32-year-old man and 31-year-old man who were shot, one in the right leg and the other in the left foot.
Both men were taken to Kona Community Hospital in stable condition.
On Tuesday, officers executed a search warrant on the property of 64-year-old Albert Todd III and took him into custody.
He’s being detained at Kealakehe police station while police investigate two potential felony assault charges.
