Maxmin Pio Kanuha, 53, of Waimea died Aug. 3 at Hale Ho‘ola Hamakua. Born in Kona, he was a construction laborer and also worked as a yardman and house cleaner and was a member of the Waimea Door of Faith Church and former member of the Kawaihae Canoe Club. Friends may call at 9 a.m. Aug. 31 at the Waimea Door of Faith Church for a 10 a.m. memorial service with burial to follow in the Waimea County Cemetery. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
