14TH ANNUAL STRINGED INSTRUMENT SHOW

Details: Hosted by the Big Island Ukulele Guild. Show features finely crafted ukuleles by guild members as well as a juried ukulele contest. A number of special events will be hosted throughout the month. On Oct. 21, bring your ukulele to a kanikapila at noon. And at noon today (Oct. 13), an ukulele building demonstration will provide an informative view about creating an ukulele. All events are free and open to the public. Details: This class is value packed with tricks on how to make gorgeous, artistic, palm sheath baskets. All supplies will be provided to make two baskets.
