The state Department of Health today during a news conference will introduce a registry for out-of-state medical cannabis patients.
The registry will allow medical cannabis patients visiting the state from the mainland to obtain cannabis from licensed Hawaii dispensaries.
The state also will introduce an electronic medical cannabis card system for all registered state and out-of-state cannabis patients, allowing for more efficient service at state dispensaries.
More details about both programs will be revealed during today’s conference at 11:30 a.m. in Honolulu.
