Gabbard drops congressional race to focus on presidential

HONOLULU — U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii doubled down on her long-shot presidential campaign, announcing she won’t also run for re-election in her congressional district, where state Sen. Kai Kahele of Hilo is mounting a spirited push to take her seat.
