Rayminhild “Lei” Leinaala Ouye, 82, of Keohuolu, Kona, formerly of Hilo, died Dec. 22 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Kohanaiki Nui, Kona, she worked in in the food and beverage department and front desk for the former Naniloa Surf Hotel, was a member of International Longshore and Warehouse Union Local 142 and co-editor of its news letter, Alu Like kupuna program and Hui Malama Ola Na Oiwi.
