The state Department of Health reports that as of noon today, there are 68 new COVID-19 cases statewide and three additional deaths.
That brings the statewide number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 15,071 and the official death count to 216.
DOH didn’t immediately release information on the deaths.
Today’s new infection cases include 15 on Hawaii Island, 46 on Oahu, one on Maui, and six of Hawaii residents diagnosed with coronavirus while out of state.
That brings the total case numbers to 13,133 on Oahu, 1,274 on the Big Island, 408 on Maui, 99 on Lanai, 17 on Molokai, and 64 on Kauai.
There have been 76 Hawaii residents diagnosed with the novel coronavirus while out of state.
Of those infected statewide, 1,105 have required hospitalization and 11,776 have been released from isolation as recovered.
As of today, there are 10 individuals hospitalized on the Big Island for COVID-19 and 40 deaths have been reported in Hawaii County.
Free drive-through COVID-19 testing is scheduled for 9 a.m.-noon Monday at Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium in Hilo. Please enter the parking lot from from Kuawa Street.
Testing is free and there is no co-pay but individuals with insurance are asked to bring their insurance cards with them, to wear a face covering and to observe social distancing.
