That brings the overall number of Hawaii County cases to 1,332.
Currently, eight people are hospitalized on the Big Island with coronavirus-related illness and 48 have died, according to Hawaii County Civil Defense.
There were 156 new cases reported statewide today, with one Oahu case removed from the count based on updated information.
The City and County of Honolulu recorded 124 new cases to bring its total to 13,445.
Maui had four new cases, bringing its total to 414, while Lanai recorded one new case and now has 104 total cases and Molokai remains at 17 cases.
Kauai had no new cases and remains at 67.
Five more cases involving Hawaii residents were reported from out of state, bringing the number to 94.
The state has reported 219 coronavirus deaths, so far, but there has been a reporting lag between counties and the DOH.
Of the state’s cases, 1,125 required hospitalization and 11,958 have been released from isolation aws “recovered.”
