Born in Honokaa, she was a former candy packer at Hawaiian Holiday, a kitchen worker at T.Kaneshiro Store, later retired from KTA Deli in Waimea and was a member of the Kalopa Hawaii Pidgin Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
