Eugene Hu Date Lee, 83, of Glenwood died at home on Friday, Dec. 27. Born in Honolulu, he was a meat cutter at Progressive Meat Market. He also served and retired as a technical sergeant (food service supervisor) from the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He later retired as a meat cutter from Safeway. Mr. Lee was also a long time member and landscaper at New Hope Hilo and a member of New Hope East Hawaii.
