Kona police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the hospitalization of a 2-month-old Holualoa boy.
On Wednesday, Kona Juvenile Aid Section was notified by Child Welfare Services in Honolulu that the infant had been taken by a family member to Kona Community Hospital Tuesday night and then flown to The Queen’s Medical Center on Oahu on Wednesday morning.
An abuse case has been initiated.
