Born in Santa Ilocos Sur, Philippines, she worked for Miyashiro Poultry Farm and was a member of World Mission Center in Hilo. Visitation to be held from 8-9:30 a.m. Nov. 12 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Arnold Hajime Hara, 70, of Hilo, died Oct. 20 in Honolulu. Born in Hilo, he was an emeritus professor of entomology at the University of Hawaii in Manoa and a member of Hilo Meishoin and the Hawaiian Entomological Society. Private services held. James Wenden Lott, 86, of Hilo, died Oct. 14 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Monterey Park, Calif., he was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired agriculture biologist for Ventura County in California. Solomon Naaieono Aikau III, 74, of Kamuela, died Oct. 2. Born on Maui, he was a lifeguard.
