UPDATE: Missing ‘endangered’ woman found

UPDATE: Police report that Ms. Fishburn was found in good health Tuesday in Nanavale Estates.

Hawaii Island police are seeking the community’s assistance in locating 73-year-old Denese Fishburn of Pahoa, who has been reported missing and is considered endangered as she has a condition that requires medication.

She was last seen on Monday at about 2:30 p.m. on Ginger Circle in Nanawale Estates, Pahoa.

Fishburn is described as Caucasian, 5-feet-6 inches tall, 176 pounds, with blond and white hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing an olive green sweatshirt with a turtle on front, multicolored tights with a diamond pattern, and pink slippers.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the police department’s nonemergency line at (808) 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at (808) 961-8300.
