Boyington “Barry” Joseph DeCambre Reid Parks, 88, of Mountain View died May 3 at home. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, he was a retired electronic technician for the former Hawaiian Telephone Company and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a 1953 graduate of St. George’s College in Kingston, Jamaica, earned an Associate of Arts degree at Leeward Community College on Oahu Arts Degree, and was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Mountain View. Memorial Mass 10 a.m. Saturday, June 24, at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Celebration of life to follow from noon-4 p.m. at the family home. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Damiana Aloha Avilla-Parks; sons, Leonardo (Norma) Parks, Boyington (Brenda) Parks Jr., Lorenzo (Brandylyn) Parks, Reginald (Shanny) Parks and Emanuel (Justyne) Parks; daughters, Leonora and Angelina; brother, Ronald Parks; sister, Sharon Parks; 29 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
