Hawaii Island businesses that look to expand their business through exporting are invited to a special Big Island Export Seminar from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, at the Hawaii Innovation Center conference room, 117 Keawe St. in downtown Hilo.
This is a free event. However, pre-registration is required at https://www.hicc.biz/event/hawaii-island-export-seminar-2/.
Exciting opportunities in growing markets will be shared, and attendees will learn how they can leverage their websites to reach global consumers and connect with buyers around the world.
The seminar will cover the top markets for Hawaii products and services, how to protect intellectual property internationally, and the resources available to Hawaii businesses.
The program will include a local Big Island exporter who will share their insight on how they’ve successfully exported Big Island products around the world. Also, find out how the Hi-STEP grant program (https://invest.hawaii.gov/exporting/histep/) can help boost your business’s exports.
The seminar will feature John Holman, director of the Pacific for the U.S. Commercial Service.
Following the presentation, attendees will have an opportunity to meet with Holman for a complimentary export consultation. This is offered thanks to a partnership of the Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce, Hawaii Small Business Development Center and the U.S. Commercial Service.
