Born in Washington, D.C., he was a member of Critical Care Transport Team at St. Louis Children’s Hospital and graduated from Hilo High School. Memorial service at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Malia Puka O Kalani Church, 326 Desha Ave., Hilo. Visitation at 3 p.m. Survived by parents, John and Anne Bowen of Hilo; wife, Christine Bowen of Illinois; sons, Jace and Corey of Illinois; daughter, Lauren of Illinois; sisters, Maureen Figueira and Denise Marjarum of Pennsylvania; one grandson.
Alice Tachera-Larimer is also survived by brother, William Lawrence. His name was omitted in an obit published Wednesday.
