Public acquisition of a trail to the Papaikou beach will be the topic of a meeting this Friday.
The meeting is held at 6 p.m. at the Papaikou Gymnasium. County Council Chairman Dominic Yagong is sponsoring the meeting to get feedback on a resolution requesting Hawaii County to acquire easements through eminent domain to provide access to the beach.
