Norma Vega Castillo, 86, of Hilo and formerly of Kapaa/Wailua, Kauai, died at the Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility on April 20. Born in Lucena, Quezon Province, the Philippines, she was a homemaker, member of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church (Lihue) and a former member of the Kapaa Senior Citizen Club. Friends may call from 4:30-5 p.m. Sunday at the Hilo Missionary Church; Celebration of life from 5-6 p.m., followed by a paina and screening of a life documentary film. Friends may also call at the St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Lihue, Kauai, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 17, for a screening of a life documentary film, 10:30-11:30 a.m. for family visitation, with a Celebration of life at 11:30 am. Lihue services to be followed by a paina luncheon with friends and family at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Center in Lihue. Casual attire, no flowers.
