The Atherton Family Foundation recently gave $10,000 to support the Palace Theatre’s Marketing Capacity Building initiative. This grant will enable the Palace Theater to build its performing arts brand with a new logo and updated website.
As technology continues to change the face of the business world and how we interact with it, a high-quality theater website will provide a way to capture the enormous amount of traffic that surfs the Internet.
Additionally, it makes an entity more accessible to its patrons, who will now have the opportunity to purchase online event tickets, during nonbusiness hours, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“We expect more high-caliber acts will want to perform at the Palace once on-line ticket sales are implemented, as a more sophisticated; well-presented brand is put forth,” said a Palace spokesman.
The theater will celebrate nine decades of growth and change, as the Palace turns 90 in 2015.
Coordinators are looking forward to increasing awareness, adding user-friendly technology and presenting a strong, professional, online Internet presence.
