Police seek suspects in resort e-bike theft

Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man and a woman sought for the theft of an electric bicycle in Waikoloa on Sept. 26.

The theft occurred at a resort along Waikoloa Beach Drive at about 11:45 a.m.

A man and woman were seen near an electric bicycle, which was missing after they left the scene.

Police have released video surveillance photos of the suspects.

The man is a Caucasian, was wearing light-colored pants, no shirt, dark shoes and possibly carrying a shirt. The woman has dark skin and was wearing a yellow-and-brown bikini with a yellow flower in her hair.

Anyone who can identify either or both suspects is asked to call the police nonemergency number at (808) 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at (808) 961-8300.
