Suspect sought in Hilo burglary

Police are seeking information about this burglary suspect.

Police detectives are requesting the public’s assistance to help identify the suspect in a burglary that occurred during the early morning hours of Thursday, Oct. 10.

At approximately 2:40 a.m. that day, South Hilo patrol officers responded to a report of an alarm at a business located in the 400 block of Manono Street.

Officers determined that a lone male suspect unlawfully entered the business and removed numerous items of merchandise before fleeing the scene.

The suspect was captured on video surveillance within the business.
