Survived by sons, Raymond (Gloria) Kobayashi of Hilo, Rayson Kobayashi of California, Rodney (Verna) Kobayashi of Washington and Roydon (Lisa) Kobayashi of Hilo; daughter, Ailene (Dennis) Fujimoto of Nevada; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Paulette Carreira Luiz, 63, of Papaikou died June 17, at her residence. Born in Hilo, she was a waitress for Miwa’s and Osaka Restaurant in Hilo and a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou. Friends may call Sunday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Visitation from 9-11 a.m. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Casual attire. Survived by son, Elliot James Fernandez of Washington; three grandchildren; brothers, George (Marcy) Luiz and Michael (Aza) Luiz of Washington; David (Audrey) Luiz of Papaikou; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
