The Kona Hospital Foundation invites the community to its July lecture, “Kona Community Hospital Trauma Center: Understanding Emergency Care in Hawaii,” from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, in the Community Meeting Hale, Building G, at the West Hawaii Civic Center.
Guest speakers for the free program will be Dr. Richard McDowell, the trauma medical director, and Wendi Wagner, trauma program manager. They will discuss Kona Community Hospital’s Level III Trauma Center, access to emergency care in Hawaii County, as well as injury prevention.
