Elisabeth “Liz” Emilie Haspe, 90, of Keaau died Dec. 30, 2024, at her home in Hawaiian Paradise Park. Born in Bremerhaven, Germany, she worked for Seiko for 35 years, was an animal lover, tennis player and loved her evening glass of wine and chocolate. Annelle Kahalehau Lee, 82, of Honokaa died April 18 at Honokaa Hospital. Born in Hilo, she was a retired U.S. Navy captain, nurse practioner OB/GYN, owner/manager of the Honokaa Club Hotel, member of the United Methodist Church in Honokaa and graduate of Baldwin High School on Maui.
