The National Library of Medicine produced the traveling exhibition, which opens at The Queen’s Medical Center on Friday.
The exhibition explores the connection between wellness, illness and cultural life. Displays will include views of land, food, community, earth, nature and spirituality as they relate to health. The exhibition will address the relationship between traditional healing and Western medicine and how economic and cultural issues affect health.
The exhibition will be open to the public in the Queen’s Historical Room through late September.
