Officials of the American Red Cross Hawaii State Chapter announce that the following individuals from throughout the state have been elected to the board of directors: Ron Forest (senior vice president, operations, Matson); Glenn Hong (president, Young Brothers, Ltd.); Andrew Jackson (president and general manager, KITV), Elena Kambitsi (senior vice president, consumer strategy, HMSA); Harrilynn Kameenui (vice president, human resources, Lanai Resorts, LLC, dba Pulama Lanai); Henry Katsuda (president and CEO, TD Food Group); Jim Kelly (director of communications, Kauai Island Utility Cooperative); Kristina Lockwood (general manager, KHON2); Maya Rogers (president and CEO, Blue Planet Software); Paula Yoshioka (senior vice president of corporate development, The Queen’s Health System, and president of Queens Development Corp.).
Rejoining the board are: Jeff Chung (vice president, KBFD TV); Dennis Francis (president and publisher, Honolulu Star-Advertiser); Dan Giovanni (senior vice president, operations, Hawaiian Electric Co.); Jeffrey Harris (director and vice president; Torkildson, Katz, Moore, Hetherington & Harris); Randy Harris (community volunteer); Peter Ho (chairman, president and CEO, Bank of Hawaii); Carol Kitaoka (deputy prosecuting attorney, County of Hawaii); Patrick Kobayashi (principal/CEO, Kobayashi Group, LLC); Kitty Lagareta (chairman and CEO, Communications Pacific); Gina Pohlabel (district team leader, Target); Robert F. Reich (SVP, CFO and treasurer, Hawaiian Telcom Communications, Inc); Jean Rolles (vice president, community affairs, Outrigger Hotels), and Peter K. Tomozawa (executive director of business development for the City & County of Honolulu).
Jean Rolles is the chapter chair of the Hawaii State Chapter Board of Directors for her second term. She is vice president of community affairs for Outrigger Enterprises, Inc. Rolles has served on the Hawaii Red Cross board since 1997 and has served on the nominating committee, philanthropy committee, training and preparedness committee and major donor committee. She has also served on the executive committee and is a past secretary and vice chair.
Other officers are Patrick Kobayashi as vice chair, Kitty Lagareta as secretary and Dan Giovanni as treasurer.
