The June 27 lava flow advanced 350 yards since Tuesday morning, according to Hawaii County Civil Defense.
An overflight this morning showed the flow continued to advance in a northeast direction but at a faster pace.
On Tuesday, Civil Defense said the flow advanced 270 yards since the day before.
