8th Paradise Studio Tour is Dec. 6-7

Find arts and crafts galore at the eighth annual Paradise Studio Tour.

The tour is slated for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 6-7. This event invites the public to visit artists in their home studios in Hawaiian Paradise Park.

Nine studios take part, with more than 27 artists and craftspeople showing oil painting, watercolors, collage, pastels, acrylic, cement, wood sculpture, jewelry making, pottery, ceramics, soapmaking, silk painting, fashion art, gourd crafting, photography and more. There also will be free featured demonstrations along the way.

The group has donated more than $9,000 for art education at Puna district high school art classes.
