East Hawaii Cultural Council/Hawaiian Museum of Contemporary Art announces a call for entries for its Summer Arts Juried Show.
Entries can be submitted 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. There will be a juror’s talk at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
Exhibition dates are July 4-31 and the gallery hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.
Laura Smith is the show’s juror. Big Island residents 18 years and older are eligible to enter. All media are acceptable. Entries must be original works only. Giclee prints of photographs and digital art are acceptable.
Entries must be installation-ready. EHCC/HMOCA members pay $15 per entry; $25 per entry for nonmembers. There will be cash awards. Call 961-5711 for more information.
