Back by popular demand, Kuikahi Mediation Center presents a full-day seminar titled “Effective Group Decision Making” from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. July 10 at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, University Classroom Building, Room 217.
The seminar will be led by Dr. Randy Hirokawa, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at UH-Hilo, who will show what your group can do to maximize its ability to make good decisions.
Hirokawa, who is widely known for his expertise in the area of small group communication and decisions-making effectiveness, will cover topics such as:

• How groups make “bad” decisions.
• How meetings contribute to faulty group decision making.
• How to make effective decisions in your group.
• Six rules for running successful meetings.
