Other participants include kahu Gaymond Apaka of Haili Congregational Church, Charles Mapa, Raymond Dustin, Raymond Gandy, Hilo Community Chorus under the direction of Ian McMillan, and the Hilo Civil Air Patrol under the direction of Irenio and Deena Mateo.
As in the past, KMC will provide all eligible veterans in attendance a free dinner buffet. Advanced registration is required by calling 967-8371. Pre-registered guests will receive meal vouchers 30 minutes before the ceremony.
Meal vouchers also will be available after the ceremony. Guests must present military or veteran ID.
For all others, the buffet cost is $26.95 for adults and $13.50 for children 6-11.
This is a National Park Fee Free Day; park entrance fees will be waived.
