The International Lunar Observatory Association is collaborating with projects around the world to advance human civilization to the moon for good, and for all.
The association is inviting the public to attend Galaxy Forum Hawaii 2015 from 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the MCO Building, 67-1185 Mamalahoa Highway, in Waimea.
The keynote speaker of the free event, titled “Astronomy from the Moon and Hawaii: Cultural Perspectives,” is Kimo Keli‘i Ka‘aha‘aina Pihana, Hawaii kapuna and cultural practitioner.Pihana also serves on the ILOA board of directors.
